Dirty Laundry had a very low budget photoshoot for their holiday drop, especially for NYE. Therefore a lot of the visuals had to come from design. I was struggling to make the shoe with the purple background work as a strong hero image, until I moved it slightly off canvas. At that point it all clicked, I added a black, grungy wrapping paper background, played with the text to warp it around the shoe and added a gif to bring some fun to the center of the email.
